Snowflakes fell in Charlestown yesterday - DOH!
Another tough week for the Pool - we lost two of our four entries.
Going to see David Cross this evening.

Our multi-friend yard sale this past Saturday (10/17) was a success. We took in over $630 collectively! Our take was about $180, and it will be going to buying a Roomba!

Weebly offered a great deal to bump things up to the next level, so as of now, we are actual paying members of the weebly crew. Well worth it! All videos will be migrated from the third party Vimeo to weebly, which will have a nice look. And some other benefits. Plus, we are supporting the very entity that is making the new McKennas site a reality.
One of the guys on my Wednesday night team has a habit of manipulating photos of his teammates as well as producing some more extravagant follies ... Try JibJab Sendables® eCards today! On Saturday, October 3, Jess and I returned to the world of competitive running. After a 20-year hiatus since Islip High School track, we were ready to relive all the joy and glory of mindlessly trotting along in a complete state of disgust. The occasion was a 5k fundraiser run for Samaritans - a great cause. Despite the steady rain and puddles, we both set blistering paces. I scorched the course up at a pace of 10:13 a mile, and Jess burned it up at 11:40 a mile. Obviously, we had not lost a step since high school. In all seriousness, we were both very happy with how we did and glad to have done it.
More film action in the neighborhood. You can get the low down here, but our little neck of the 'hood saw some activity today. Apparently, The Town (Ben Affleck's movie) decided to film a scene a couple houses away from us. So, lots of trucks and gear and a lot of people standing around. It was fun to see the activity right here! No cool actor sightings though. |
