![]() Tonight was the Charlestown Preservation Society's (CPS's) Annual Meeting. Yeah, so what. Well, first Jess is (... was) the president of CPS, and second, tonight, she passed the proverbial torch!! It is with great pride and joy that this post comes to you. Pride, because Jess did a fantastic job as president. Joy, because I am so happy for her and that she'll be spending less time on CPS activities (she remains a member of the board). Jess' tenure was highlighted by oversight of the installation of new interpretive signage at the Training Field, embarking on a strategic planning process for the organization, and of course, the mammoth endeavor of pulling off the Historic House Tour. To the right is a beautiful gift given to Jess this evening. Way to go!
